ICMIZER Adds MTT ICM Calculations

Brand new to ICMIZER are MTT ICM calculations, which were added in recent days. This already impressive program now allows players to calculate ICM before the final table. You'll notice an MTT Stacks window that can be minimized or expanded based on your preferences that includes inputs like Remaining Players, Average Stack, and Total Chips.

As text found on ICMIZER's website proudly proclaims, "Using this simple minimized form and just those three values is enough to perform an MTT ICM calculation." ICMIZER will then randomly generate stacks for you using one of two methods: Random or Manual. To use the former, all you have to do is "drag a special desired stack distribution slider and ICMIZER uses a sophisticated algorithm to generate stacks according to that distribution."

You can also set stack sizes in Manual mode, although this could be quite a bit of work. Additionally, as ICMIZER officials explain, "This will probably only make sense when there are two tables remaining because if there are more than two tables, actual stacks become less relevant." Overall, ICMIZER officials recommend using Random mode whenever possible.

Once you've set the stacks up, it's time to let ICMIZER go to work. There's no difference from the traditional ICMIZER sit and go functionality when it comes to having the program calculate stacks: "Once stacks on other tables are set, you can minimize window and assign stacks, bets, and ranges on your table as you normally do in one-table SNG ICM calculations. Just hit 'Calculate' as usual and you will get an ICM calculation for MTTs."

To say that the ICMIZER team is pumped up about adding MTT calculations would be an understatement. A representative from the program told PokerSoftware why the development team spent so much time adding this brand new feature: "Now, you can add stack information for other tables and, using the MTT's payouts, figure out how to play the bubble according to ICM, which wasn't possible before."

Also brand new to ICMIZER is the ability to load multiple hands at the same time. Why is a fuss being made about this capability? Unmistakably, it's a huge time-saver for players looking to review their hand histories. We'll let ICMIZER explain: "Before, ICMIZER forced you to load poker hands one by one and it was tedious and difficult when you wanted to analyze more than a couple of hands. Now, once hands are loaded, you have an easy-to-use loaded hands browser that gives you ability to cycle through hands back and forth."

To take advantage of this feature, first click on "Load Multiple Hands or Tourney" on the main ICMIZER screen. Then, you'll get a pop-up prompting you to "Paste Hands from Clipboard" or "Open a File." Select whichever option best fits what you want to do and then hit "Paste" or "Control + V" on your keyboard. After you've pasted your hands, click "Load Them" in the lower right corner and you'll be on your way.

Once all of your hands are loaded, you can sort them using a variety of filters like Position, Players, Big Blind, Blinds, and Type. Clicking on any hand in the list will load it so it can be analyzed.

Check out ICMIZER today. The program will set you back $79.99 for one year, $14.99 for one month, $29.99 for three months, and $49.99 for six months.
